SUMMARY
International Conferences in Pharmaceutical & Health Sciences (ICPHS) is an international conference organized by the Department of Pharmacy, Poltekkes Kemenkes Gorontalo, with the output of research results or published papers. ICPHS has been held for two years, in 2021 and 2022. This activity has presented speakers from various countries, including from The University of Manchester (United Kingdom), Oregon State University (USA), University of Florida (USA), Mahidol University (Bangkok – Thailand), Universiti Sains Malaysia (Malaysia), Universitas Gadjah Mada (Indonesia), and Universitas Hasanuddin (Indonesia).
ICPHS has been attended by 1478 participants who are lecturers, academics, researchers and general participants throughout Indonesia, with the number of Oral Presenter participants being 62 articles and poster presenters being 18 titles. Publication of scientific papers is carried out through collaboration with several journals, including: International Journal of Applied Pharmaceutics (Q3), Jurnal Infokes (Sinta 2), Jurnal Medical Sains (Sinta 3), Health Information: Jurnal Penelitian (Sinta 3), Jurnal Galenika (Sinta 3), Jurnal An-Nadaa (Sinta 4), Poltekita: Jurnal Ilmu Kesehatan (Sinta 4), Jurnal Kesehatan Primer (Sinta 5), Journal Health and Science (Sinta 5), Journal of Experimental and Clinical Pharmacy serta Journal of Non-communicable Disease.
In 2023, the Department of Pharmacy, Poltekkes Kemenkes Gorontalo in collaboration with the Graduate Pharmacy Student Association will hold an International Webinar “3rd International Conferences in Pharmaceutical and Health Sciences (3rd ICPHS)” with the theme
“Current Challenges and Innovations in The Field of Diabetes Mellitus”. This activity aims to be a forum for sharing information and developing knowledge related to efforts to prevent diabetes mellitus, the latest developments in diabetes mellitus in the community, product formulations, natural ingredients and development of diabetes mellitus drugs.
Activities will be held on:

Method : Online (Zoom and Youtube)
Time : 08.00 – 15.30 WITA (Indonesian Middle Time)
This activity takes the form of a scientific seminar consisting of plenary lectures and presentations of scientific work. Plenary lectures consist of delivering material from keynote speakers and invited speakers, while presentations of scientific work will be carried out in the form of oral and poster presentations in parallel from conference participants. The target participants are practitioners in the fields of pharmacy, pharmacology and therapy as well as related fields of science, both from academics (lecturers, researchers, students) as well as practitioners and industry from within and outside the country.

ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PRESENTATION
Regarding with the International Conference in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Health Sciences 2021 and seeing the condition of network disturbances that have occurred in several areas recently, we announce that there will be a slight change in the mechanism of oral and poster presentations which were previously planned to be live, will be changed to offair (participants make video recordings of presentations).
1. In the oral presentation, we require participants to prepare a video presentation with the following:
PPT is made systematically
-Title page (contains the name of the presenter and affiliation)
-introduction (Max 2 pages)
-research question and aim (1 page)
-method (1 page)
-results and Discussion (2-3 pages)
-summary (1-2)
-future development/study (optional max 1 page)
-weaknesses and limitations (optional) (1 page)
-acknowledgment (1 page)
-references (1 page)
For review (adjusting to the review made)
2. For poster presentations, you can directly present each section in the poster
Poster systematic:
-Introductions,
-method,
-Results and discussion
-Summary/Conclusion
-Acknowledgment
-References (max 4)
3. Videos are made in a maximum duration of 8-10 minutes and sent with PPT and/or Posters to email icphs@poltekkesgorontalo.ac.id
We recommend that the presenter be included in the video
4. PPT and Presentation are presented in English.
5. The deadline for uploading videos is October 7th, 2022 at 22.00 WITA.
6. The presentation video will be shown in the order of presentation distributed by the committee, and after the presentation there will be a Live Question and Answer Session on the day of ICPHS (we will share the schedule on October 7th, 2022).

PURPOSE OF ACTIVITY
The main objective of this activity is to socialize the prevention, treatment and development of advances in cardiovascular medicine and increase understanding to the people of Indonesia and the world. Specifically, this activity aims to:
- As a medium for meeting and exchanging information between researchers and academics
- As a means of socialization, identification and efforts to increase public understanding of the prevention, treatment and treatment of cardiovascular disease
- Develop research networks and other collaborations in the pharmaceutical sector in Indonesia
ACTIVITY BENEFITS
The benefits expected from the implementation of this international seminar are:
- Holding of international conferences on the prevention, treatment and development of drugs for cardiovascular disease
- Dissemination or presentation of papers sent by authors from students, researchers, academics or the general public who have been through selection/review by a team of reviewers appointed by the committee
